In this video, we’ll show you how we swapped out a floor furnace for a Carrier Infinity centralized heating and air conditioning system, which involved putting in vents into the ceiling of every room in the house, installing a return air grille, moving the gas line to the attic, running electrical work into the attic where the new furnace was placed, expanding attic access, setting up a platform for the furnace to sit on, cutting a new flue vent in the roof, adding an AC coil and drain pan/lines with a secondary shut-off switch plus duct work, and setting up a refrigerant line from the AC coil to down under the house and outside to the condenser.
